At present this property has been designed as a development for potential resale and therefore we have concentrated on infrastructure and core systems such as Lutron Electronics lighting control, Control4 intercom & gate, and core wired and wireless networking.
For the TV aspect of the project, the site is pre-wired for having televisions in multiple rooms. At present we have installed the cinema, family lounge and gym TVs. In the family lounge, we have installed a bespoke piece of clic joinery, specifically designed to house the client’s existing Artcoustic speaker bar.
The fabric doors were chosen to tie in with the interior colour scheme and a Samsung Frame TV was installed to blend seamlessly into the room.
The cinema includes an 85” Sony wall mounted TV and we have reutilised the client’s existing Artcoustic 5.1 speaker system. We sourced some bespoke custom black grilles for the speakers using the same system that Artison use for their Soundbar grilles.
Finally, focussing on home control, we have multiple Control4 10” in-wall and portable touchscreens around the property. Their primary purpose at present is intercom, gate control, lighting and CCTV. You can of course control all zones and all systems from these touchscreens along with the Control4 OS3 app.
The client chose Lutron for their lighting control system, using Palladiom keypads throughout the hallways and main entertaining spaces on the ground floor and the master suite.
The Lutron system has been linked into the Control4 system using their native integration and the client can activate scenes from the Control4 touchscreens and the Control4 app. We also integrated Lutron Triathlon Blinds in the cinema and the ground floor staircase.
We have four Control4 intercom panels in this property, 2 at gate locations and 2 at entrance door locations. The main gate panels have keypad options so that codes can be generated and assigned to different users. You can also answer the calls using Control4’s Intercom Anywhere feature – should you not be at the property.
Surrey AV Solutions have been an absolute pleasure to work with and their service has been excellent. They've helped us to choose the best kit and get exactly the right set up for us - it's been a very custom process. At every step they've worked hard to fit the equipment, network specifications etc around what we wanted to achieve.
